Just because it's a spin-off, doesn't make it non-canon to the original. So I think it's time for people to start discussing because even though I have seen no confirmation of an uncanon Metal Gear Rising, people seem to believe that Metal Gear Rising is not canon because it's a parallel game from the true Metal Gear Solids and it's a spin-off.
